EFILM offers a full range of high quality input scanning services to most any digital format, image size or resolution. We scan all the standard formats including Academy, Anamorphic, Full Aperture and VistaVision at full or half resolution.

EFILM takes advantage of the latest scanning hardware and enhances the process with its proprietary software. A superior scan requires a higher resolution source, generally twice that of the working resolution. For example if you require a true 2K image then that scan must be derived from a 4K scan by properly sampling and scaling down to the 2K image. This technique produces a superior scan more suitable for any digital work.

Our scanning technology is pin registered for maximum image stability and we scan 3, 4 and 8 perforation images. In addition, our scanners include technology that eliminates the infamous "splice bump". EFILM records the scanned data to most all tape and disk formats.
