Q. What is a DI (Digital Intermediate)? |
| |
A. Digital Intermediate is an integration of several postproduction processes that allows filmmakers to evaluate and manipulate images prior to recording to film. Through scanning, assembly, color correction and digital opticals, a high resolution digital master can be created. This master can be recorded to film and any other medium such as a Digital Cinema Master, HD Masters, DVD and any combination of broadcast formats. |
