  Q. What is a DI (Digital Intermediate)?
  A. Digital Intermediate is an integration of several postproduction processes that allows filmmakers to evaluate and manipulate images prior to recording to film. Through scanning, assembly, color correction and digital opticals, a high resolution digital master can be created. This master can be recorded to film and any other medium such as a Digital Cinema Master, HD Masters, DVD and any combination of broadcast formats.
  Q. Why DI?
  A. The Digital Intermediate process gives the filmmaker more creative flexibility than the traditional post production process and more high quality delivery options.
