The American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) is pleased to present an exhibition of still photographs by its members.
The show opens May 21, 2005 and can be viewed online, and by appointment. This is a rare opportunity to view the personal works of the finest cinematographers in the motion picture industry. The exhibition supports the ASC's ongoing program to create their new Technology and Education Center.
The ASC has embarked on a campaign to expand their 85 year tradition of advancing the art of cinematography by building a new state of the art facility more appropriate to the 21st century.
The Technology and Education Center will be a place for inspiring the artistic expression of the next generation of filmmakers. The Center will research and perfect solutions that take advantage of unfolding technology, to educate young filmmakers and motion picture professionals in the evolving world of motion picture imaging.
