EFILM is proud to have delivered 8 DCI compliant Digital Cinema Masters for feature films including "Ice Age 2: The Meltdown", "Aquamarine", "Inside Man", "Stay Alive", "Casanova (4K)" and "Annapolis".
EFILM's DCI compliant package is in full compliance with the DCI specification for both 2K and 4K Digital Cinema.
We consider the Digital Intermediate (DI) Master the best source for a Digital Cinema Digital Master (DCDM). It produces the most accurate emulation of the final movie.
This EFILM approach virtually eliminates the need for a color "trim pass." While it can easily be accommodated, EFILM's ColorStream® Look Design process, makes it unnecessary, saving time and money.
Color adjustments made in the DI process translate seamlessly to the Digital Cinema Digital Master. At EFILM the DI and Digital Cinema Masters are viewed at the same time, in the same environment allowing simultaneous approval.
In addition to the accurate color translation process, EFILM provides the benefits of our SAMSARA® Production Management Database. This system tracks and logs elements throughout the production flow. It streamlines editorial changes and preserves all color information throughout the entire post -production process.
